History
DOM-TEC® was developed in response to the need of the mining-metallurgical industry (Electrowinning) to reduce CAPEX, OPEX costs and mitigate the emission of greenhouse gases (CO2 and SO2) to the environment.
- Mitigation of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) by using energy ERNC.
- Mitigation of Acid Mist (SO2 - sulfuric acid plus oxigen) by implementing DOM-TEC®’s cells.
DOM-TEC® is a technology supported by more than 12 years of research and 4 years of laboratory, bank, semi-industrial and industrial tests. It currently has 3 patents in progress and a cell design of Direct Electrowinning (EW) of the latest generation (scalable and portable), which is applicable to mining operations of small, medium and large mining industry.
